Nº 3. This extrusion is the latest addition from Fit-On Products, it allows the fitting of window boards that are standard i.e. 19mm and others that are oversized from the normal. It expands to take a variety of window boards, whether made from board, a combination of board & tiling, marble, in fact anything that is between 19mm and 50mm.

It can be fixed to sills that are flush fit or lipped & because of the soft post formed rubbers to the board and the window sill there is no requirement for a silicone seal, especially important on conservatories where there is always a gap between the sill and the frame at the internal corner mitres, it also makes fitting the window board on conservatories extremely simple because you fit the bottom extrusion first, once you are happy with the fit just insert the top extrusion to make a perfect seal and to make the job easer we provide end caps & mitre covers for that professional looking job.

It is possibly the only extrusion that can be used to support the window board when you are replacing with new P.V.C.u. windows, especially on larger frames where the window board is impossible to pack up under, it is now being specified by a number of architects & local authorities, it can be fixed to the sill before inserting the window frame, the top extrusion can then be inserted to make a complete seal to board and window frame, no silicone , no a cavity drafts, the making good around the window frame can be achieved by using the finishing strip on the external brick work & internal plaster.
